Scattered thunderstorms are possible tonight across West Central Texas. A few of these storms may become strong to severe, mainly north of a Stamford to Albany line. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary severe weather threats.

Saturday through Thursday Scattered storms will again be possible Saturday and Saturday Night. Although widespread severe weather is not expected, a few of these storms may approach severe levels. Large hail and damaging winds will again be the primary threats.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. South southeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon.

Saturday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. Breezy, with a northwest wind 10 to 20 mph. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph.

Sunday Night: Clear, with a low around 40. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light west after midnight.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 83. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Monday Night: Clear, with a low around 56. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southeast after midnight.
