MONITORING THE PULSE OF OUR COMMUNITY

KXYL monitors the pulse of the community - not only with news - but special broadcasts. For instance, when the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce vists the Texas Legislature (Feb 15), KXYL went along; and features the activities with a live broadcast from Austin during the reception held for legislators in the Austin Club Medallion Ballroom. In addition, both City Manager Bobby Rountree and Mayor Steven Haynes regularly drop in to explain what is going on at City Hall beyond the headlines.
